Abstract

A start-up is a business that is still in its infancy. It is started by one or more entrepreneurs with the goal of producing a good or service that they believe there will be a demand for. Businesses known as start-ups focus on one primary good or service that its founders want to market. (Zaheer et al., 2019) More importantly, most of these efforts don’t have a thorough business model and don’t have enough funds to grow. Most of these companies were first funded by their promoters, who later sought out additional investment from friends and venture investors. Start-ups might invest in research and develop business concepts with the help of seed money. Newly emerging consumer wants or gaps in the market are often the impetuses for start-up businesses. We have examined the economics of start-up businesses in relation to the Indian economy’s growth requirements in this research. Subsequently, we associated the function of a start-up with the so-called “Atmanirbharata” call, which advocates for an independent India.
