Dr. Liton Mallick is an Assistant Professor and also the Head of the Department of Education, at Swami Vivekananda University (SVU), Kolkata, India. He holds an M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Education from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Dr. Mallick also supervises the research scholars at the Department of Education, SVU, and has worked as a Research Assistant for various UGC, UPE-II, and RUSA research projects. He has contributed significantly to the field of education through his research papers, book chapters, and articles published in peer-reviewed national and international journals, including Web of Science, UGC-care listed and Scopus Indexed Journals. In addition, he serves as the reviewer for a reputed journal. His research interest lies in the areas of value & peace education, religiousness & mental health, life-skill education and also the application of artificial intelligence in the field of modern education. Moreover, Dr. Mallick is also the editor of the book Modern Trends and Innovation in Education & Professional Development of Teachers. He is the author of the book Essentials of Educational Thought.
