Abstract

The rapid growth of digital media has changed how people communicate, access information, and take part in social and political life. Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter (X), and short-video platforms have become important spaces for sharing information, forming opinions, and discussing public issues. Within these spaces, social media influencers have emerged as powerful actors who can shape the opinions, attitudes, and behaviours of their followers.
