Abstract

Many people think that the cloud will revolutionize the ICT sector. Our goal in this research is to identify the problems and obstacles associated with cloud computing. Following a discussion of two related computing paradigms—Service-Oriented Computing and Grid Computing—and how they relate to cloud computing, we list several obstacles to cloud computing adoption. Finally, we will draw attention to the Cloud interoperability problem, which warrants significant further study and development.
