Abstract
The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare has revolutionized the way medical services are delivered, creating a more connected and responsive healthcare environment. IoT enables real-time monitoring, data collection, and analysis, allowing for more precise diagnoses, personalized treatments, and efficient resource management. This connectivity not only improves patient outcomes but also enhances the overall efficiency of healthcare systems. However, as the adoption of IoT technologies continues to grow, it is essential to consider their impact on sustainability. The increasing use of IoT devices and the vast amount of data they generate require careful planning to ensure that healthcare systems remain environmentally and economically sustainable.Sustainability in healthcare is more critical than ever, given the growing strain on global healthcare resources. The application of IoT presents an opportunity to reduce waste, lower energy consumption, and optimize resource utilization. A sustainable IoT-based healthcare system can help minimize the carbon footprint of medical facilities, reduce operational costs, and improve access to healthcare in underserved areas. This research paper explores the key strategies and technologies that can be implemented to achieve a sustainable IoT-enabled healthcare system, offering recommendations for policymakers, healthcare providers, and technology developers. By aligning IoT innovation with sustainability goals, the healthcare sector can build a future that is both technologically advanced and ecologically responsible.
