Abstract

The proliferation of the Internet of Things (IoT) has ushered in a new era of data-driven applications, relying heavily on wireless sensor networks (WSNs). However, managing resources such as energy, bandwidth, and computational capacity remains a significant challenge. This chapter explores the application of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to optimize resource management in IoT-based sensor networks. It discusses state-of-the-art methods, including machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning, for enhancing efficiency and reliability. Case studies and future research directions are also presented to underline the transformative potential of AI in this domain.
