Abstract

Green innovation is increasingly vital in today’s global economy as environmental sustainability becomes a central concern. Emerging economies, however, face unique challenges in integrating sustainable practices into their research and development (R&D) frameworks. This paper discusses strategies to implement green innovation in R&D within these economies, considering economic constraints, technological gaps, and policy frameworks. We propose a roadmap to drive sustainable growth by leveraging local strengths, international collaborations, and policy reforms. The paper also explores the role of education, government incentives, and public-private partnerships in fostering green innovation.
