Abstract
Climate change, driven by increased concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere, has become one of the most pressing global challenges of the 21st century. This paper explores the impact of climate change on crop yields, importance given on the changes in temperature, precipitation patterns, and the increased frequency of extreme weather events. It examines how these climatic alterations affect agricultural productivity with particular emphasis on key crops like wheat, rice, and maize. The study also discusses mitigation and adaptation strategies that could help minimize the adverse effects on crop production and ensure food security for a growing global population.
