Abstract

Carbon sequestration, the process of capturing and storing atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2), has emerged as a critical strategy to mitigate climate change and its effects on agriculture. Soils, forests, and other ecosystems act as natural carbon sinks, holding vast potential for offsetting greenhouse gas emissions. In agriculture, carbon sequestration not only contributes to climate resilience but also enhances soil health, productivity, and sustainability.
