Abstract

This research paper examines the critical issue of gender equality within organizational behaviour in India. Despite significant progress in recent years, gender disparities persist in various facets of workplace dynamics, including leadership representation, pay equity, and workplace culture. The paper discusses the socio-cultural, economic, and organizational challenges that hinder the realization of gender equality. It also highlights strategies that organizations can implement to foster an inclusive environment, promote equitable practices, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness. Through a review of existing literature, case studies, and empirical data, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of gender equality in the Indian workplace and suggest actionable recommendations for organizations striving for inclusivity.
