Over several decades, he has contributed extensively to academia and institutional development, holding key administrative and academic positions, including Professor at Calcutta University, Vice-Chairman of the West Bengal State Council of Higher Education, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kalyani and Chairman of The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).
His research expertise encompasses Strategic Cost Management, Accounting & Finance, Organizational Behaviour, and Human Resource Management.
