Abstract

This paper explores the vital role of sustainable research and development (R&D) in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs provide a global framework to address urgent environmental, social, and economic challenges. Sustainable R&D, which focuses on the creation of innovative solutions that enhance environmental protection, social equity, and economic growth, is a key driver in the pursuit of these goals. The paper highlights the interconnectedness of sustainable R&D with each SDG, emphasizing its critical role in advancing sustainability across multiple sectors.
