Abstract
Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CBT) have emerged as a dominant approach in mental health treatment, adapting to modern technological advancements and cultural diversities. This study examines emerging trends in CBT, emphasizing technology-driven interventions, mindfulness-based therapy, and culturally adaptive models that contribute to a holistic approach to mental wellness. This study follows a mixed-methods approach, integrating:A comprehensive analysis of recent publications on digital CBT, mindfulness, and cross-cultural therapy models.Quantitative Data: Meta-analysis of CBT interventions, including VR exposure therapy, AI-driven therapy applications, and mobile-based mental health platforms.Qualitative Data: Interviews with mental health practitioners and patients on their experiences with emerging CBT trends.Major Findings:Technology-driven CBT innovations, such as Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET), AI-driven mental health applications, and mobile-based interventions, have enhanced accessibility and patient engagement.Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), integrating Eastern meditative practices, has demonstrated significant success in reducing stress, anxiety, and depression.Culturally tailored CBT models have proven more effective in diverse populations, addressing socio-cultural barriers and improving therapy engagement. While digital CBT provides greater accessibility, concerns related to ethical considerations, data privacy, and long-term effectiveness require further exploration.
