Abstract

Inclusive education aims to provide equitable access to quality education for all children, including those with disabilities, within mainstream schools. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 of India places significant emphasis on inclusive education, with particular focus on Children with Special Needs (CWSN). This paper examines the provisions of NEP 2020 that are specifically designed for CWSN, highlights the challenges in implementing inclusive education, and explores the opportunities that NEP 2020 presents. Through a comprehensive analysis, the paper aims to provide insights into the future of inclusive education in India, particularly in the context of CWSN.
