Abstract

This article offers a thorough examination of healthcare policies and their impact on access and fairness in healthcare systems. Access to decent healthcare is a fundamental human right, yet discrepancies continue internationally, with underprivileged communities facing major obstacles. This research does a literature analysis to explore the historical history of healthcare policies, contemporary reform attempts, impediments to access and fairness, policy interventions, and the impact of policies on vulnerable groups. The research emphasizes the complexity of resolving healthcare inequalities and suggests the potential for policy change to enhance equitable access to healthcare services.
